Just read the review for Walt Disney Treasures: Mickey Mouse In Living Color II over at DVDToons.com - one of my new favorite sites. This DVD looks like a really great collection of cartoons starring Mickey Mouse. There is a volume 1, but after reading throught the descriptions of both at Amazon.com, I think I'd learn towards owning Volume 2.Ever since Mickey became a corporate icon, it's difficult to find cartoon shorts starring him. That's what makes this collection so refreshing. It's a great reminder of what made the character so endearing and catapulted Walt Disney's animation company to the heights it has reached. A benefit of owning it would be able to prove Ian, Emma and Zoe that Mickey isn't just a picture on a t-shirt or a corporate huckster, but that he was a star of some fantastic, quality animation.
