Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from the McKillips

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE MCKILLIPS!

Our Christmas is going wonderfully. We had a great time at my Dad's house on Christmas Eve with Elizabeth, Kevin, and Mckinley. I came home with the Complete FarSide hardbound collection - over 4,000 FarSide cartoons with commentary. It's like a DVD - but on paper. And speaking of DVDs, I've already gotten a bunch - Blade Runner, Ocean's Eleven, Some Like It Hot, and The Road to Bali starring Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, and Dorothy Lamour. Don't know when I'll get to watch any of them, but when I find the time, I will.

Santa was good to Ian and Emma - at least that's what their faces and voices told us this morning. More Bionicles for Ian, plus a new GameBoy game (this one with Pac-Man, Dig Dug, and Pole Position all on it), plus a slick Batman vs. Joker slot car racing set. He's already been tearing it up on the track.

Emma is already in love with her new Care Bear and the baby bed Santa brought her. Zoe is just happy to crawl around and play with whatever she finds, though she did give the toy pony Santa brought her a huge smile. Ian is very excited to start playing all the new board games he's gotten; Clue Jr. and Hungry, Hungry Hippos to name a few.

I think Heather really likes the Senseo coffe maker I got her. She enjoys drinking coffee, but doesn't make fresh-brewed at home because she doesn't what to make a whole pot. The Senseo makes one cup at a time, and from all the reviews and recommendations I found on the web, it's the single-brew machine to buy. I'm anxious to see how things turn out.

Won't take too much more time. Have to get back downstairs to start getting ready for everyone coming over to our house for Christmas dinner. (Oh boy!)

By the way, the reindeer at top was drawn by Ian.

Merry Christmas.
