This Green Jersey I Like

A while back I made fun of the NBA for picking this weekend to have some of the teams wear special green jerseys to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. What about the NBA, I argued, has anything to do with being Irish?

Of course, whatever I said about the NBA and St. Patrick's Day means nothing when dealing with a sport I really like. Say, Major League Baseball for example. The Cubs and the Sox will don a green jersey from time to time, or at least MLB will sell the greeen jerseys the teams could wear. This, I think, is a great idea. Why? I like the Cubs and think a green jersey would be near to have.

All things considered, it comes down to this. Chicago Bulls wearing green jerseys - dumb. Chicago Cubs wearing green jerseys - cool! I want one.
